The Smart Carb Diet: Introduction

Obtaining your ideal weight and body fat % is 70% Diet & 30% working out. 

 For many years I have always wondered what people eat who have a body fat percentage of less than 10%.  Now that my own body fat is less than 8% and holding steady I am compelled to share what I did in order to reach my ideal weight and body fat percentage.

I have been working on refining this diet for many years combined with 60 minutes of cardio and weight lifting five days a week.  I have now hit my ideal weight and body fat.  The diet below shows how to incorporate the Julian Bakery Smart Carb breads into your everyday food plan.  Also, the other two great breads for use in the food plan is Purity Bread and Manna From Heaven.

This is not really a diet, it’s a food plan to follow everyday.  What is great about this food plan is that almost every restaurant has a salad that you can add protein into to follow the plan.

 One thing people always complain about is gaining weight when they travel.  Using this food plan you can travel and still find a salad anywhere you go. Even Subway offers spinach salads with grilled chicken breast and avocado so don’t make excuses for not being able to find a place around you to eat healthy. Always seek places when possible that serve organic salad & meat as to avoid an increase in estrogen.

It’s easy to cut unnecessary carbs and calories our of your diet by making simple changes. When ordering a salad ask for no croutons, and no cheese and instead ask for avocado (no more the 1/2). Ask for Braggs salad dressing or just straight vinegar dressing to really cut our unnecessary calories and carbs.

The Smart Carb Diet focuses on burning unwanted fat while preserving muscle. This program’s goal is to reduce your body fat percentage down to a point to show off the muscles that are hiding beneath your fat layer, or to maintain the lean body you already have. The Smart Carb Diet does this by providing specific nutrients, vitamins, and proteins to your body to stimulate your metabolism and balance hormones to adequate levels. If your hormones are not in line, you can work out as hard as you want and not get results! This food and vitamin plan triggers your body’s fat burning potential by increasing your natural utilization of protein. 

Many diets tell you that  just going low carb or low calorie is the only way to go, but these diets can often lead to you burning not only fat but your muscle too, leaving you weak and your mind clouded because it’s so starved for calories and nutrition.

The Plan: (Adjust Dosing & Eating Times to your Schedule)

Upon Waking:

5AM – 24oz of water upon rising

5:15AM – Take the following supplements:

5:30AM – Cut 1 Apple into a bowl of Fage 0% Greek Yogurt (18g Protein Per 6 Oz) 

Mix this with Now Foods L-Carnitine 3000mg Liquid (Fat Burning) 

- 8oz Coconut Water (For Additional Hydration & Potassium) at least 1oz of Coconut water

take 15 Drops of Twinlabs DMAE & Paba and mix 

- Take 1 Quantum Digest (Prepares Stomach for Protein)

5:35AM – Double Shot of Organic Esspresso or 1 cup of Black Coffee (Only Use Stevia For Sweetening) or Green Tea Drops

5:45 AM  Begin Drink Alkaline PH Water Such as Essentia 9.5 PH Water that contain Electrolytes

6:16AM – Mix 1 Scoop of  Now Foods Egg White Protein (Vanilla or Chocolate – All Natural w/Stevia) 

7 AM – Drink one Guayaki Yerba Mate or or Green Tea Drops

7:03 AM – Take Now Foods – B12 Liquid  or Ulta B12 (Coming Soon) *Equal Potency To An Injectable B12 Shot (1/4 Teaspoon you can go up to 1/2 Teaspoon After 3 Days) 

7:04 AM – Take 6 Sprays of Now Foods IGF-1 Immediately Before Working Out

7:15 to 8:15AM  - Workout –  (30 Minutes Of Cardio – Must Burn 400 + 30 Minutes Weights – 5 Days a week

**Take turns each day focusing light weight lifting on Chest, Back, Legs,  and  Arms**

Noon (Lunch)- Spinach or Dark Green Salad with Chicken or Fish with 1/2 Avocado – Vinegar Dressing / Braggs used as Dressing

Try and Eat 1 Organic Apple (Fuji Has Best Flavor) immediately following lunch

1:45PM - Take Now Foods – B12 Liquid (1/4 Teaspoon you can go up to 1/2 Teaspoon After 3 Days)

4 to 5PM -  Dinner - Spinach or Dark Green Salad with Chicken6-8oz of meat) ( or Fish with 1/2 Avocado – Vinegar Dressing / Braggs Dressing

    This isn’t a diet plan. It’s a mathematical equation for rocket science!!!! One big thing for me, on a diet is that it has to be simple to follow. With real food!!! Obsessing about food 24/7 is not good. I could see taking some supplements with your normal daily med’s. But it looks like your taking some sort of supplement at every meal! It’s mind boggling! Talk about the over-achiever here! Most people aren’t like that!

    So what works for one person isn’t likely to work for all. I personally cannot work out much anymore. I’ve had two herniated disks in my back since I first started working out 2 years ago. I injured it just by working out at the local gym doing water aerobics, weights, walking/running, and bicycling. Then I got into a car accident which re-injured the surgery site. So again I am down for the count. And frankly I am a busy mother of two children. I’m not completely seditary. There is no way on earth the kids would allow it. : ) Nor my husband.

    However, I am type 2 diabetic. It might be worth while to have a friend test a diet plan for low to moderate activity in type 2 diabetics, verse’s this super charged “man’s routine” you got going on. Using the low carb bread! Because after all there is always a MUCH better way to get protein in one’s diet without buying a bread, online, with this huge expense. Like 1 chicken breast or any fresh cut piece of meat from the super market! In other words there are cheaper methods for protein than buying from Julian’s Bakery! A chicken breast alone only has 120 calories and is packed with protein!

    The people want to know if your bread really helps them lose weight. And their not looking for just a protein supplement! Although it is somewhat irrelevant with all the protein options out there that are cheap, low calorie, and easy to obtain. As I said above.

    It is good that it has protein in it. Especially if you only have a slice of the bread for breakfast.

    Anyway, glad you can meet your goals. Hoping in the future this site will actually offer up some real options and how to use this bread in a “normal” person’s diet routine!

    Wore me out just reading this lol.. So glad you have found a system that works for you. I personally cannot afford all the supplements/vitamins.But could do the basic foods.
