Grains promote inflammation in the body. They also contain gluten which is bad for everyone. Also Ketosis refers to Ketogenic “Burning Fat As Energy”.

Have been gluten free for a little over a year. I tried the Paleo Almond bread today for the 1st time. Had some eggs with veggies and a piece of toast for breakfast and a grilled cheese for lunch. It was really good! First bread of any kind in about a year! I purchased at Nugget Market.

I have been “low-carbing it paleo style” for a while and just tried this product…. I loved it! Excited to try the other coconut and the zero breads as well. Yay for sandwiches again…. a girl can only eat so many lettuce wraps! I almost didn’t try these as I bought the zero cookies in chocolate first and didn’t care for them at all.

I agree with some of the other reviewers in that the bread is best toasted, but I think this is because it needs to be stored in the refrigerator. If allowed to stand to room temperature I am sure it would be good as well. Looking forward to other Julian Bakery products! Thank you for making a great bread with natural ingredients.

The closest store I found that has Julian Bakery products was in Mt. Pleasant, MI and I live in Saginaw, MI, about 50 miles away. Any chance that you may be able to distribute stores throughout the Tri-Cities area? I can guarantee there would be a large customer base here. Lots of “health nuts” including myself.

Just tried the chocolate candy bar too with almonds and its good too.. so thankful when you can’t eat anything else, it’s like a dream come true.. Coconut Paleo Bread is ideal for the HCG Diet and can be eaten anytime on the HCG Diet.

Reply

Is it ideal for all stages of the HCG diet or just Phase 3 and 4?

Reply

The Paleo Coconut & Almond bread we make is ideal for stages 3 and 4 once you can begin having Fats again and to maintain your results. The Paleo Coconut bread specifically has almost no fat and no starch and should not even cause you to stall.
