Wow this is simply amazing. I have not had bread in 2 years. To be able to have to slices of this for breakfast and stay on the Atkins diet is like a gift from heaven. I just wanted to take a second to thank you guys for your great products. I buy them locally at the New Life health food store in my neighborhood (here in Tucson, AZ). I eat them myself, of course, and appreciate their providing me with a great source for making croutons, or bread crumbs or just enjoying a buttery piece of toast and still managing to maintain my low carb lifestyel. However, what you particularly have my thanks for — and what i most appreciate — is how much our child loves these breads.

He is 12 now and he was a baby/younger, I made all his breads, etc. from scratch, because that was the easiest way for me to avoid having to feed him wheat-loaded, high carb bread products. Now, thanks to your great selection, I can be entirely lazy on the bread front!! We’ve never allowed the child to start his day with the normal american high sugar/high carb breakfast of cereal and stuff — always pushing the protein and fiber as an important start to his day and an important factor in his energy levels/etc. sustaining until school lunch time — and your breads make it so easy for me to still give him “normal” breakfast of a piece of toast or french toast or whatever. He’s a good kid, and understands the value of eating well, but even a saint needs a break from Hot Cooked Breakfast and just wants to munch on some toast while goofing on the computer some mornings!

So, while my own eating habits thank you, the Mom in me also thanks you!!

Bridget, I thought the same but splurged on 3 loaves and high shipping just to satisfy my curiosity. It is WELL worth it. This is what bread should taste like and be. Next time I will buy the 6 loaves and low shipping and freeze the bread.

I just had a grilled ham and swiss cheese on #1. . . it was delicious! That bread toasts up so well crisping up into a nutty flavor. . . . I love the crunch of grilling it. . . but my FAVORITE is #2. . Love those raisins in cinnamon . . . love it grilled even more.

I just started the Atkins diet and after two weeks I just miss my bread, I just do! Then I came across this site and went to Whole Foods and bought the cinnamon raisin by mistake but let me tell you all….it is delicious! Even if I wasn’t on this type of eating, I would eat this bread! It is delicious and good for you! The fact that this bread IS SO GOOD FOR YOUR BODY, and tastes better than store bought, it is well worth it. I am in LOVE with the Cinnamon Raisin Smart Carb bread. I use it for everything, tuna sandwiches, egg salad, grilled cheese. I know it might sound crazy but this bread is the best!!! I had grabbed this #2 kind out of my store’s freezer by accident a week ago when I was looking to try low carb bread by this company and didn’t realize they made different kinds. We thought, “oh no, raisin cinnamon, that won’t be good and can’t use it for sandwiches” but we kept it. And toasted it and put some organic butter on it and it rocked! It doesn’t have a lot of raisins or a strong cinnamon taste, so you could actually use it for something like chicken salad I think to be creative. Or just add more cinnamon before toasting. Either way, it is truly amazing, delicious and so healthy. If you do low carb or just need to add fiber and protein to your diet, try this bread. AND try the regular low carb #1 -went back and got a loaf of it today since I knew what I was looking for and just made a grilled cheese and it was delicious! You’d never know you are eating such healthy low carb breads, but I do think toasting may be key, even just lightly toasted. (But since my store keeps it frozen that might be why I think that) Love it – low carb AND eating bread:)
