Paleo Pizza – Gluten Free Made With Paleo Bread™
Who said you can’t have Pizza on a Paleo Diet? Now you can follow this simple recipe using our Paleo Breads™
½ cup chopped red onion
½ cup chopped green bell pepper
2 medium-thick slices ham, chopped into 1 x 1 squares
1 cup sliced crimini mushrooms
¼ cup sliced or diced olives, optional
¼ cup tomato paste seasoned with sea salt, oregano, basil, and garlic
1 tsp coconut oil
Preheat oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
Place chopped onions and chopped green bell peppers on some foil and place in oven or toaster oven until edges are slightly browned (about 10-15 minutes)
While the onions and peppers are cooking, take out a small non-stick skillet, place on medium heat, and add the mushrooms and teaspoon of coconut oil, stirring occasionally until cooked through, about 10 minutes.
Once onions, peppers, and mushrooms are cooked, set aside.
Using the small skillet, place pieces of ham inside and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side over medium-high heat.
Toast your 2 slices of Paleo Bread (Almond or Coconut) until lightly browned.
Spread tomato paste seasoned with sea salt, oregano, basil, and garlic to taste onto the bread, and add all the toppings (and olives if using).
