On the back of the package, it states “DO NOT FREEZE” However, I bought these already frozen. They thawed out to room temperature in the car, and I did not re-freeze them. Are they still safe to eat?!? I hope!

Julian Bakery August 19, 2014 at 11:03 am

Yes, they are still perfectly fine!

Love the wraps – would like to do more. I would be very grateful (and buy even more wraps!!!) for a group of recipes utilizing the wraps. I am looking for cooked type recipes like paleo ravioli or paleo pot stickers/wontons. Do these wraps work as pasta? I’m wondering if I can roll them and slice them and use them as a fettuccine type noodle? (I don’t want to waste any experimenting.) Eating paleo requires so much prep from scratch – love having the wraps and taking out a step from food prep!

Paleo Wraps are raw and use raw coconut water. This means the entire wrap is dehydrated at low temperature to preserve all the amazing health benefits of the coconut.

Is any dairy used on your premises? I am concerned about cross contamination.

Reply

Our facility only processes coconut.

LOVED these! Got my order quick and my items were fresh. I used my wraps for taco night AND to make breakfast burritos. The texture was great, and the coconut flavor wasn’t overpowering. Ordering more today! 🙂

I see you say the wraps are preserved through dehydration. Would these be suitable for a raw diet (in other words, dehydrated at a low temperature around 105-130 degrees?)

Reply

Julian Bakery February 9, 2014 at 8:28 am

Yes, the Paleo Wraps are raw as they were dehydrates at less the 125 degrees!

Leif, I believe that I understand your motive. Open a sandwich shop that features ‘ the new wonder food ” Paleo ‘ great thinking. But first open a Bakery in your home and sell Paleo wraps to Restaurants and Grocery Stores and sell it under your Familys Name ” FOSEN’s Paleo Products ” sounds great to me. So good luck and go for it.

Here is a review on the taste: Review just in from Tara Tipton she says “Ok got these in today and wow! I am impressed. I thought for sure since same ingredients as another brand I have tried they would possibly not hold well. They hold great! Not only do they bend but can wrap totally around your food ( like a burrito) Very mild on the coconut flavor. I am not a coconut fan so that is saying a lot . I was afraid the coconut would outweigh flavor of whatever you put in it , not the case ! 5 stars *****”

The stores don’t need to keep them in the fridge as they do last 9 months in your pantry. The best way it to simply leave them out to thaw. The wraps are naturally preserved through dehydration.

Julian Bakery August 15, 2013 at 7:01 am

The wraps are sold in many of the same stores that buy our bread. I would call first as we do sell our quickly. The best way to order for now is to order six or more items and shipping is $8.95 or less for 2 day air.

I LOVE THESE PALEO WRAPS!!! I’m not joking when I say I’ll be your biggest fan! I have Celiac and can’t handle grains at all, so having something like these Paleo Wraps is just a godsend.

I have lots of paleo/celiac/crohn’s students and clients (I’m a fitness/nutrition/lifestyle coach) who will love these! I’ve invited bunches to like your page and will invite more in a bit.

Where are they available at retail in Los Angeles… specifically the South Bay area (Redondo and surrounding beaches). I will make sure that everyone I know tries them.

Send me a tank top with the logo. I’ll wear it and promote this product everywhere! Can you tell that I’m excited??? Cat Landry

I love these Paleo Wraps! I took them on a 5 day backpacking trip and they made a great breakfast “crepe” with almond butter and banana, and provided a great alternative to flour tortillas when making fajitas out of those dehydrated food bags. These are sure to be a staple in my house and on the trail. Cheers! David Meissner

Thank you so, so much! I LOVE my Paleo wraps I ate one right away at work with a salad I brought for lunch. Gluten free wraps have been so lackluster that I have avoid eating them, and despite recipes I couldn’t get homemade coconut flour wraps perfected. Thank you thank you!!!

Finally tried your Paleo Wraps and they truly are incredible! Completely revolutionized my life! We made fajitas the other night, and I was worried about the taste. But let me assure you that its such a subtle flavor that you hardly notice. They are delicious! Just made a tuna wrap today that was perfect! Thank you for creating something so delicious and paleo friendly!
